Live Music in Galveston: Hotel Lucine Announces Lineup
GALVESTON, Texas — Summer may be winding down, but live music on Galveston Island isn’t going anywhere.
Hotel Lucine has announced the remaining lineup for its Sunsets & Sounds summer music series, bringing live performances, cocktails and Gulf views to the hotel’s rooftop through Labor Day weekend.
The series gives both Galveston residents and visitors another option for live entertainment on the island, with performances scheduled around sunset on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Best of all, general admission is free.
Live Music on the Hotel Lucine Rooftop
Running from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, Sunsets & Sounds at Hotel Lucine features musicians from Galveston, Texas and beyond performing on the hotel’s rooftop overlooking the Gulf.

Friday, August 21 — Kyloh
Saturday, August 22 — The Bright Light Social Hour
Friday, August 28 — Micah Edwards
Saturday, August 29 — Magnifico
Friday, September 4 — Tyson Webb & The Outlaw Boogie
Saturday, September 5 — Aaron Stephens Band
Sunday, September 6 — La Izquierda All Stars
The performances are scheduled around sunset, giving guests a chance to grab a cocktail, listen to live music and take in views of the Gulf.
Admission Is Free
General admission to Sunsets & Sounds is free and open to everyone.
Regular rooftop seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests who want guaranteed seating can also purchase VIP seating reservations through Hotel Lucine’s Eventbrite page.
For visitors spending a weekend in Galveston, the series can easily be worked into an evening on the island. For locals, it provides another recurring live-music option without requiring a ticket for general admission.
